The year 2011 ended in a bang when Cyclone “Thane” struck Puduchery and Cuddalore leaving Chennai with only strong winds and moderate to heavy rains! Any suprises in 2012?!

A new low pressure area lies southeast of Sri Lanka. This would bring heavy rains to Chennai, one or two very heavy spells cannot be ruled out.
